Regarded by many as one of the world's most well-known financial centres and tax havens, the often underestimated Cayman Islands certainly have more to offer than initially meets eye. Beyond the glorious beaches, glitzy resorts, elegant restaurants and modern lifestyle, lies a proud little nation home to warm, welcoming locals and a wealth of unforgettable landscapes, attractions and natural treasures. Find out for yourself why the Cayman Islands is one of the favourite holiday destinations of the rich and famous.
Introducing the Cayman Islands
Unwind, relax and lose yourself in this tropical paradise surrounded by jaw-dropping beaches and pure blue waters. Luxury doesn't get more secluded than this.
Barefoot freedom and Caribbean charm abound in the Cayman Islands. Dwarfed by the neighbouring countries of Jamaica and Cuba, these three little-known and mysterious Caribbean islands promise seclusion, world class luxury and relaxation.
Stay on the famous Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman to be closest to cocktail bars, luxury shops and the most prestigious hotels. Then, for a break from it all, leave the glitz and glamour of the more popular areas behind to explore the real untouched beauty of the smaller islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
Speak to one of our travel advisers to make sure you get the hotel that's right for you. Or, to taste a little of everything, combine your holiday in the Cayman Islands with a stay in another exotic Caribbean destination, such as Cuba or Jamaica.
Relaxation and the laid back lifestyle
Nothing here is rushed as everyone takes the time to enjoy the beauty that surrounds them. Laze on sun-heated sands, eat fresh seafood that's come straight out of the water you just swam in and immerse yourself in luxurious surroundings.
Couples looking for a honeymoon or a romantic break will find all their needs well catered for in the Cayman Islands, particularly in the more secluded resorts.
Take the plunge into the Caribbean
George Town is a typical Caribbean capital. Relaxed during the day, it heats up at night as the sights and sounds of calypso and reggae take hold. Welcoming locals make it a warm and friendly place, inviting you to join the crowds and lose yourself in the rhythm.
If you've never tried snorkelling or scuba diving, this is one of the top places to start; you might find yourself swimming with huge rays at Stingray City, or amongst shoals of brightly coloured tropical fish out in the open sea. More experienced divers might go deeper to explore sunken wrecks and reefs off the coast. If scuba diving isn't for you, there's also plenty of attractions to explore inland.
