Rosewood Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will manage a new hotel in Nassau in the Bahamas. The Rosewood Baha Mar will be located on Cable Beach and will be part of the renowned Baha Mar resort complex. The property will have 185 ocean-view guest rooms and suites with private balconies, plus five four-bedroom beachfront villas with private pool.
Royal Caribbean International has revealed that it will be making major enhancements to its private island destination in the Bahamas. The CocoCay island will get a new pier which will be able to accommodate Oasis class cruise ships, and services and facilities that will help showcase Bahamian culture through local vendors and craftsmen. The project will be completed in various phases over the next two years.
Ground has been broken on Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas. The Chief Executive of MSC Cruises led the ceremony with the Prime Minister of the island nation, as well as other government officials, and it marks the first stage of development that will transform the marine reserve back to its former glory, whilst also accommodating 11 new next-generation smart ships.
