Where to go in the Bahamas

With over 3,000 islands and cays to choose from, picking just one place to stay in the Bahamas can be a difficult decision. We recommend island hopping to experience a little of every side of the Bahamas. If that sounds too complicated to organise, don't worry, you won't have to. We take care of all the arrangements, including transport and overnight stays. Just speak to us about your ideal island hopping experience and we'll arrange it all for you.

A good place to start is the capital Nassau, the main cultural hub and a place where Old World colonial charm meets 21st century Caribbean culture. Walk down streets lined with pastel coloured Georgian buildings and pick up a souvenir in the lively wooden shops of Bay Street.

Learn more about the islands' colourful past at the Junkanoo museum, play golf and tennis at world class facilities and wonder along the delightful Bahamian Riviera at Cable Beach. This is also home to the islands' exotic and entrancing nightlife scene.

Connected to the capital by two bridges, the glamorous and elegant Paradise Island is home to some of the finest luxury hotels in the Bahamas. Miles of pristine white sand beaches, championship golf courses and superb diving conditions make this the perfect place to unwind.

The 365 stunning islands of the Exumas, made famous by the James Bond film Thunderball, feature private island resorts and underwater reefs teeming with exotic marine life. Its movie connections don't end there, as stars like Johnny Depp have made it their second home after buying one of these little islands.

The Lucayan National Park is home to the world's largest underwater cave and cavern system. Take a private tour by kayak, paddle in the crystal clear lagoons and lunch on a private beach. This is a nature experience not to be missed.

From the great surfing spot of Eleuthera Beach to the calmer waters of Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island, the Bahamas is home to some truly spectacular holiday spots. Combine and build your own itinerary with the help of our experts and enjoy the best luxury and adventure holidays in the Caribbean.

The Exumas are a nature lover's paradise, dotted with intimate hideaways and secluded beaches stretching for over 100 miles.

Bahamian culture

The capital Nassau exudes charm. From the lively shopping area of the Straw Market to the Bahamian Riviera at Cable Beach, lined with restaurants and bars, you can get into the spirit of island life in no time. Visit during the Junkanoo carnival for a true taste of the Bahamas.

Adventure and watersports

Swim with dolphins, take a powerboat trip or explore a hidden cove in a sailboat, all in the beautiful surroundings of Paradise Island. Enjoy the superb diving conditions under the crystalline water, skim over the top on water skis or glide high above it all on a parasailing adventure at Cabbage Beach.

Unlock your potential to relax on secluded beaches lined with palm and casuarinas trees on Cat Island in the southern Bahamas. Alternatively, just off the coast of Georgetown in Great Exuma, Stocking Island boasts one of the finest white sandy beaches in the Bahamas, and it's hardly ever crowded. Ideal for lying back and letting go.

The caves at Lucayan National Park are a must for any nature lover, with the world's largest underwater cavern system found here. Equally awe-inspiring are the Sea Park in Abaco, the National Parks of Andros, Conception Island and the Fowl Cays. Swim with dolphins or make friends with a sea lion at the Blue Lagoon in Nassau.

Simply enjoy the island paradise or bounce out of bed for another adventure, there is a something to suit everyone in the Bahamas. Let's create your individual adventure by working together to make the most of these incredible islands.
