Tourism income in the Bahamas, with a record-breaking 5.9 million visitors in 2012, is expected to keep growing. According to the Tourism Minister, if more travellers keep choosing Bahamas holidays, the country could welcome 7 million tourists by 2015.
Grand Lucayan announces future upgrades and says it will continue to offer all inclusive Bahamas holidays
The Grand Lucayan Resort on the Caribbean island of Grand Bahama has announced that it will be undergoing a series of refurbishments and upgrades over the next few months. The resort now offers all inclusive and room-only Bahamas holidays for international travellers who can enjoy luxurious accommodation and upscale facilities.
Bahamas records 5.9 million arrivals in 2012 and expects 7 million annually by 2015
The Bahamas Tourism Minister has announced that the island nation received a total of 5.9 million visitors in 2012 and is expecting to see seven million tourists taking Bahamas holidays every year by 2015. The figures show a 6.3 per cent increase in overall arrivals compared to 2011, and a 7.1 per cent rise in air arrivals.
