Enjoy a unique day out in one of the few islands where a circumnavigation tour is so much more than just that! This fabulous circumnavigation tour is not just any tour around the island but an exceptional event of its own! So come and join us in this unique sailing experience along all of Antigua’s beautiful coastline and get to re-discover the island in a truly spectacular way! Get to visit famous landmarks such as Long Island
Because of Antigua’s indented coastline this circumnavigation tour will take you to places that most tourists don’t get to see during their holiday. With an array of exciting sailing stops as you learn about dozens of historical sites and landmarks, this will be a day of enriching fun like no other!
The tour begins on the island’s western coast and from this point we make our way north towards Green Island; the largest uninhabited island off the east coast of Antigua. Situated in the North Sound National Park, this incredible island offers a wide variety of pristine white sands to explore and pretty secluded beaches to discover. As we make our way there the Captain will enlighten you with some information about the Prickly Pear Island, Long Island, Devil’s Bridge and several other interesting landmarks as we pass by them.
The incredible sheer beauty of the landscape surrounding you in this area known as the North Sound National Park is simply stunning. This world-renown park is a picturesque cluster of uninhabited islands, reefs and mangroves that are home to many species of sea life and birds. Our boat will slow down as we travel across this amazing park for 30 minutes of panoramic sailing.
Once at the deserted Green Island you will hear a brief narration about the coral reefs and the amazing marine population in these waters. Soon after you’ll be proceeding to engage in a great snorkeling experience in clear shallow waters. Here you will find a spectacular display of underwater wonders with the possibility of spotting the beautiful and majestic hawksbill turtle!
Take time to enjoy a pleasant swim or just chill and relax on the beach before you are summoned for lunch. Soon you’ll be indulging in a delicious feast of authentic Caribbean Cuisine and refreshing tropical drinks.
After you’ve thoroughly enjoyed your meal the tour continues and this time we are headed east! We will be sailing around the south-eastern coastline for a scenic sea tour of the famous Nelson’s Dockyard. Upon leaving this spectacular dockyard our cruise heads further down south to view the volcanic landscape of southern Antigua. This incredible uninterrupted landscape of natural greens and dramatic volcanoes is only broken by beautiful white sandy beaches and the clear blue skies. A picture to forever capture and always keep in your memories! So make sure to bring your camera along to capture all of this beauty!
Have a laugh, make new friends and mingle with the locals as the crew gets the party started on your way back to the hotel.
