Ride Antigua in Style - Spring Hill Riding Club Tour

There are many ways to explore the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua, but horse riding has to be one of the most memorable. Spring Hill Riding Club offers a range of idyllic trail rides for beginners to experienced riders. Enjoy views of some of the most spectacular scenery on the island before spending the afternoon exploring the picturesque English Harbour.

Horse riding in Antigua is an exhilarating way to observe the island’s unique natural beauty from a different viewpoint as you venture off the beaten track and explore some of the most scenic landscapes in the Caribbean. Riding tours are available on a variety of trails and routes at different times of the day for both professional riders and beginners, and your tour will be tailored for your individual needs.

Departing from Spring Hill Riding Club in Falmouth, your experienced guide will lead you along some of the most beautiful trails on the island, through emerald green hills and across glorious white sandy beaches lined with palms and lush tropical vegetation. Tour highlights include historic sites such as the 17th century Monks Hill Fort and beautiful beaches such as Rendezvous Bay.

Enjoy glorious views of the Caribbean coastline and sparkling turquoise ocean on the way, which are particularly amazing as the sun rises or sets on the horizon. If you are an experienced horse rider, you will love the exhilarating feeling of the sun on your face and the wind rushing through your hair and as you canter freely along deserted beaches and through crystal clear waves as they gently lap the shore.

You will also get the chance to swim with your horse in Antigua’s warm tropical waters, which is one of the most memorable parts of the tour. One of the best times to go horse riding is in the morning when it’s cooler. You can then spend the afternoon exploring the rest of English Harbour in the afternoon. Aside from its breathtaking natural beauty, this popular area is home to the historic Nelson's Dockyard, the only working Georgian dockyard in the world.

The horses at Spring Hill Riding Club are well trained and the equipment is maintained to ensure comfort and safety. Lessons are available for everyone, but a qualified instructor will accompany you if you are an inexperienced rider, teaching you all you will need to know to make your experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Available throughout the year, horse riding is a wonderful adventure for the whole family to enjoy on holiday in Antigua.
