"The Point" Helicopter Flight Tour

Duration: Half Day

"The Point" Helicopter Flight Tour

What better a way to explore the beauty of South Africa’s coastline during your holiday in Cape Town than a scenic helicopter flight? This premier tour combines the highlights of the Three Bays helicopter tour with an extended flight over Scarborough and the Cape of Good Hope to the famous Cape Point. This is a wonderful way to view Cape Town’s awe-inspiring coastal beauty from a unique perspective.

Departing from the Victoria and Albert Waterfront in Cape Town, your 60 minute private helicopter flight will take you soaring high up into the sky above the stunning Cape Peninsula and Atlantic Ocean. Stretching along South Africa’s rugged western coast, from the centre of Cape Town city to Cape Point, the peninsula is characterised by beautiful sandy bays and rocky outcrops.

“The Point” flight will follow the same route as the Three Bays tour, encompassing Seal Island, Hout Bay, the small village of Llandudno, Sandy Bay, Fish Hoek fishing village, Chapman’s Peak and Noordhoek beach and lagoons, amongst many other spectacular sights, before flying over the unspoilt beaches of Scarborough and across the tip of the Peninsula to Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Look out for ostriches, antelope, Red Hartebeest and the elusive Cape Mountain Zebra as we fly over the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, which is renowned for its rich biodiversity and outstanding natural beauty.

Travelling onwards, watch the spectacular views of False Bay and the famous Boulders Beach unfold before you. The wild, rugged scenery is truly breathtaking. You can see the colourful beach houses of Muizenberg as we cross over the lush Constantia Valley and Groot Constantia Wine Estate, passing the quaint Kalk Bay before flying up the coastline over the naval base and pristine white sands of Simon’s Town.

This unforgettable journey comes to an end as you soar over Devil’s Peak and the majestic Table Mountain for the final descent back to the Victoria and Albert Waterfront, admiring views of the historic working harbour as we land. Not to be missed, this magical tour provides the perfect opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town city whilst viewing some of the most scenic landscapes in the country.
