Refurbished andBeyond Ngala Safari Lodge in South Africa reopens to guests

The &Beyond Ngala Safari Lodge has reopened to guests in South Africa, following a US$2 million refurbishment programme. Located on a private game reserve on the border of the Kruger National Park, the lodge's 20 thatched cottages have all been renovated and expanded to offer outdoor showers, and a new rim flow swimming pool has been added to the property that gives views of local wildlife at the watering hole.

Rezidor Hotel Group celebrates development and operations of 100,000 rooms

The Rezidor Hotel Group has reached a new milestone, with 100,000 hotel rooms under development. During the third quarter of 2015, the hotel group signed contracts for 12 hotels with 2,300 guest rooms in countries including Turkey, Slovenia, Finland, and Cyprus, with new properties being developed under its Radisson Blu brand.

Virgin Limited Edition partners with Litmus Wines to launch wine brand across South Africa hotels

Richard Branson's Virgin Limited Edition (VLE) hotel brand has partnered with UK-based company Litmus Wines to create its own winery, the Mont Rochelle Winery Ltd. The new winery, which will operate from the 12.5 hectare vineyard of VLE's recently acquired Mont Rochelle in South Africa, will produce VLE's first wine brand including a premium blend exclusive to Mont Rochelle guests to enjoy while on their wine-tasting holidays in South Africa.

Cape Town builds world's biggest museum of contemporary art

The world's biggest museum of contemporary art is on display on the waterfront in Cape Town in South Africa. The art pieces are being carved from a 42 vertical nine-storey-high concrete tubes. The will feature 80 exhibition galleries, a grand atrium that will have a glass roof, an education centre, an amphitheatre on the plaza outside for outdoor events, and an outdoor roof garden with stunning views.
