Morocco’s fabled “Red City” will soon be home to the Oberoi Marrakech, an opulent resort styled much like ancient Morocco’s palaces but with very modern amenities. Each of the resort’s elegantly appointed villas, rooms, and suites will have stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. The centerpiece of the Oberoi Marrakech is its indulgent spa, located on a private island in a lake on the sprawling resort.

Movenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech opens to guests in Morocco

Mövenpick Hotels has announced the opening of the new Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech in Morocco. The five-star hotel opened to guests earlier this month, and it has 503 guest rooms and suites, as well as upscale facilities including the O de Rose spa and well-being centre by Cinq Mondes on two levels, four swimming pools, five restaurants, and a rooftop bar.

Oldest library in world to reopen in Fez

With a story of its own that dates back centuries, the Qarawiyyin library in Morocco is close to reopening its doors, allowing visitors to finally experience a ninth-century masterpiece. Widely regarded as the world’s oldest library, new additions include everything from extra security to efforts to protect the library’s most important manuscripts for centuries to come.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel Marrakech Carre Eden in Morocco. The luxury hotel is located in the city’s upscale Gueliz district, and it has 198 guest rooms and suites with private furnished balconies, and facilities including a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, restaurant, bar, lounge and meeting facilities.
