Hilton Nairobi Upper Hill a project from Hilton Worldwide to open in Kenya

Hilton Worldwide will open a new hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, after it signed a management agreement with Jabavu Village Ltd. The hotel will have 255 guest rooms and suites, and is scheduled to open its doors in 2020. Hilton Nairobi Upper Hill will be the tallest building in Africa, soaring 330 metres into the sky, and guests will be able to enjoy the views of the city and beyond from the chic rooftop bar.

Tourism numbers in Kenya expected rise to 1.6 million in 2016 as governments lift travel warnings

Kenya is expecting the number of tourist arrivals to increase to 1.6 million in 2016, following the advice from governments that it is now safe to travel to the African country. According to the Kenya Tourism Board, Britain and some other nations have lifted the travel warning, and in the first quarter of 2016, air passenger numbers to Kenya were up by 27 per cent.
