A splash of worldly colours returns to London with WTM 2017

Another year, another celebration of the immensely popular and dazzlingly colourful World Travel Market, gathering the widest and most varied array of players in the global travel industry with elaborate displays recreating the culture and traditions of some of the world’s most evocative destinations as well as numerous shows, impromptu concerts, dance performances, arts and crafts sessions, seminars and conferences for all participants to attend, enjoy and soak up the atmosphere of each worldly corner. No matter how big or small the destination, the World Travel Market brings out its brightest colours and here I was again, trying to capture the beauty of it all. I've tried to get the most of my favourite moments and shots of costumes and stands, considering I had limited time and thus some displays were inevitably left out, here is what instantly caught my eye and lifted my spirit.

Here is a selection of her awesome photographs; all of which whetted my appetite for the States and made me add a few places to my own bucket list. Browse through and prepare to be inspired!

The Seychelles Islands - Joe's Favourites

My colleague Joe recently went on a trip to the Seychelles Islands with a few of my other colleagues at The Holiday Place. During his time touring and exploring them, he saw plenty of its changing landscapes and dramatic beachscapes thanks to a fair bit of island hopping, stopping at Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. Upon his return, he was short for words to describe his experience; the islands’ beauty really did take his breath away, quite literally! Luckily, he brought back a few photographs that I simply felt I ought to share with the world. So, this is what this photoblog is all about, showcasing stunning Seychelles through Joe’s eyes.
