My ten year travel plan: a bucket list

My bottom-less 'travel bucket list' is overwhelmingly long and ever expanding, with many places having idled on it for over a decade. Last week, about to add yet another dream location to the pile, I stopped myself: like many people, my bucket list was filling with dreams, which I made little effort towards achieving. So I decided to make a new list; one with just five prioritised places. And with time and money my biggest obstacles, I included a realistic expiry date to keep me on my toes: My 'Ten Year Travel Plan' expires on April 1st 2025.

Kick-starting the Year of Mexico in the UK 2015

The Holiday Place was present at the closing ceremony of Potters Fields Park's Mexico exhibition, held outdoors from 25th February to 11th March in one of London's most iconic riverside locations. For two weeks an open air fair showcasing the best of Mexico's vibrant culture was presented to the general public with a variety of evocative elements and eye-catching material representing the colourful North American nation.
