Motorbikes are widely available for hire or you can jump on a ‘Baht bus’ or Songthaew as they are known locally.
When to Visit
The dry season is warmer and runs from December to May. There is a high chance of rain between June and November with March and April being the most humid months. Shopping in Pattaya
Central Festival is a modern plaza with over 300 shops, featuring high-street names, food courts and a cinema. If you’re looking for something more traditional then head to the floating market which opens from 10am to 11pm, where you can find local handicrafts, art and other goods.

The Sanctuary of Truth is a unique sanctuary of philosophical history and is 105m tall and made of wood. Coral Island, or Koh Larn, is about 7.5km outside of Pattaya but provides a great escape from the hustle of the big city, and for an extravagant experience take a seat at Tiffany's Cabaret Show which has three performances per day.
