Getting Around
Travelling by bus is the easiest way of getting around the resort. A regular bus service runs throughout the day and it is a cheap option. Alternatively, taxis are in abundance, and while they can be a little expensive in the Hotel Zone, they’re more affordable downtown. Be aware however they are often not metered, so agree a fare in advance. Car and motorbike hire is also available (even a Harley-Davidson), and both offer a great way to explore Cancun if you want flexibility. Some hotels also hire out bikes.
Cancun Beaches
Almost 15 miles of white sand make Cancun a sun-drenched paradise for those who love watersports, pool parties and sunbathing. For a fun family day out on Cancun holidays explore the delights of Wet'n Wild, the resort’s waterpark. Thrills and spills are guaranteed here on its adrenaline-pumping slides, chutes and flumes. Dive into a Lost World
Aktun Chen is a nature and adventure park where you can marvel at underground caves crammed with stalagmites and stalactites. Located in lush jungle between Xel-Ha and Akumal Bay, dense canopy and exotic birdsong give this place the feel of a magical lost world. With the safety of a life jacket swim through spectacular fresh water grottos or take a guided quad bike tour of the jungle. The serpentarium displays many poisonous and non-poisonous snakes.
